Frank J. Schocke, 59, of Colfax, passed away August 16, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 3, 1962 in Salem, Ind. to Jerry J. and Janice M. Schocke, his mother survives.
Frank attended Clinton Prairie High School and earned his GED. He spent most of his life living in Clinton County and had worked in construction, carpentry, and concrete. His employers included Hess Construction, Carpenters Union Local 215, Bailey Trucking, Ameritrak, Winski’s and Wampler’s. Frank was a very talented artist, enjoying painting, drawing, and writing. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, flea markets, antiques, listening to music, and being outdoors. His biggest love were his children and grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Frank’s honor to the Clinton County Cancer Fund, 258 ½ Fourth Street, Frankfort, IN 46041.
Visitation and Services
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. Friends may visit 4-8 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery, Colfax.

Surviving are his Mother: Janice Schocke of Colfax; Daughter: Bethany Schocke of Colfax; Son: Matthew (Sandy) Schocke of Colfax; Siblings: Patricia (Don) Hodges, Ralph (Chris) Schocke, Sid Schocke, Tonya Schocke, and Lecia Schocke Russell; Sister-in-law: Susie Schocke; 7 Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Grandchild; along with many more loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father, son: Frank John Schocke II, Grandson: Jason Schocke, brothers: Ronnie and David Schocke, and brother-in-law: Donnie Hodges.
