Hobart McKee

Hobart Warren McKee age 69 of Frankfort passed away September 3, 2009 in his residence. Born February 19, 1940 in Frankfort, Indiana to Warren & Bonitha (Colcord) McKee. He was a 1958 graduate of Frankfort High School and then joined the United States Marine Corps where he served until 1961. He was a laborer for many years working on several hog farms and later retired from Donaldsons. His memberships included American Legion Post #12, Masonic Lodge #618 of Mulberry, Fraternal Order of Police, Former Member of the Frankfort Eagles Lodge, and a member of First Baptist Church. He married M. Joanne Hufford on August 16, 1959 and they later divorced, He married Judy (Bennett) Smith on November 27, 1991 and she survives. Also surviving are his children: Lora McKee of Indianapolis, Wendy Hall (Dennis) of Frankfort, Rowdy McKee (Donna) of Charlestown, IN, and Joe McKee (Rene) of Rossville stepchildren: Angela Ballew of Des Moines, Iowa, and D?Andrea Cress (Brian) of Marion, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 2 brothers: Carl McKee of Jeffersonville and Larry McKee of Frankfort. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter Jessica Brammell. Friends may call Noon-2 PM Tuesday at Archer-Weston Funeral Home where a celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday. Memorials appreciated to Clinton County Cancer Fund or the American Heart Association.
