Hubert Que Mayfield age 59 recently of Frankfort and a longtime Kirklin resident passed away April 25, 2009 in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born October 5, 1949 in Elihu, Kentucky to Howard J. & Naomi (Farris) Mayfield. He was a 1968 graduate of Clinton Central High School. He served in the National Guard. He was a general laborer working 31 years for General Battery and Exide Corporation until the Frankfort plant closed. He enjoyed fishing and rock hunting and collecting. He was married to Diana McCurdy July 10, 1971 and they later divorced. He later married Sylvia Lisby on July 3, 1986 and they also later divorced. Surviving are 2 sons: Jason Mayfield (Linda Sue) of Kirklin, Craig Lisby (April Bray) of Frankfort, 1 daughter: Michelle Mayfield of Thorntown, and a stepdaughter: Racheal Lisby of and a stepson: Charles Lisby both of Frankfort. 6 granddaughters, 2 brothers: Terry Mayfield (Guyla) and Barton Mayfield (Lindy) both of Frankfort, 3 sisters: Kandy Cox (Ed), and Cathy Mayfield both of Frankfort, and Jean Morelli (Dan) of Bronx, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.;Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday April 30, 2009 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery.
