Jimmy Lee Davis, 63, of Lafayette passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 in his home. He was born on July 16, 1950 in Frankfort, Indiana to Junior and Margaret (Beck) Davis. Jimmy is a 1968 Clinton Prairie Graduate and worked for Alcoa in Lafayette for 30 years, retiring in 2003. He served in the National Guard. Survivors include his Daughters: Jimie Lee Davis of Jefferson and Jodie Lynn Hill of Frankfort; Son: Matthew Davis of Indianapolis; Brother: Dwight Dean (Cecilia) Davis of Lafayette; Sisters: Barbara Clark of New Richmond, Rebecca (Vernon) Gillum of Frankfort, and Jill Davis of Lafayette; and Grandchildren: Christian Davis of Jefferson and Ivy Hill of Frankfort. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services: A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2014. Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center is honored to assist the Davis family.
