Lucille White

Lucille E. White age 89 a resident of Mulberry Health and Retirement Community and longtime former Frankfort resident passed away August 23, 2009 in Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. Born October 22, 1919 in Polk County, Missouri to William & Edith (Stewart) Porter. She married Charles E. White December 24, 1936 in Springfield, MO and he preceded her in death November 27, 1986. She was a Homemaker and also worked in the kitchen at the former Assemblies Nursing Home in Frankfort and was a School Crossing Guard for several years for Community Schools of Frankfort. She attended First Assembly of God Church in Lafayette. Surviving are her 2 daughters: Virginia L. Woodruff (Harold) of Frankfort and Jeane Churchill (Paul) of Houston, TX. 3 grandchildren: Kirk Woodruff of Frankfort, Debra Marxer (John) of Novi, MI and Gary Woodruff (Kathy) of Indianapolis, and 2 great grandchildren: Julianna Zucatto and Johnathan Dunkel. She was prececed in death by her parents and her husband. Funeral services will be held 7:30 PM Tuesday August 25, 2009 in Archer-Weston Funeral Home friends may call 6 ? 7:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held 10 AM Thursday at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Springfield, MO.
