Max Howe

Max Raymond Howe, 63, of Frankfort passed away November 8, 2011 at his home. He was born September 4, 1948 in Frankfort to R. Max and Ruby (Roberts) Howe. He married Leona “Helen” Nease on June 15, 1966 in Frankfort and she preceded him in death. Mr. Howe graduated from Frankfort Senior High School and worked for Ralston-Purina in Davenport, Iowa as a journeyman millwright for 6 years. He then worked at Sun Chemical in Frankfort for the last 38 years. Survivors include 2 Sons: Max Howe (Yadira) of Cicero, IN and Jason Howe (Diana) of Frankfort; 1 Sister: Patricia Wilson (Paul) of Kokomo; and 6 Grandchildren: Sarah Rogers, Heather Mullin, Gabriela Baez, Clint Howe, Kiley Howe, and Laura Howe. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother: Jack Howe. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.

    I worked at Sun Chemical with Max for 28 years. He was a calm, reserved , laid back person for the most part. But, when he had a strong opinion he was direct and you knew where he stood. Please accept my sincere condolences and I pray God will give you peace and comfort. .
