Michael J. Loy

Michael J. Loy, 62, of Colfax passed away Friday, January 2, 2015 in his home. He was born on February 6, 1952 in Montgomery County to Morrice and Virginia Lee (Thomas) Loy. He married Rebecca (Johnson) Stivers and they later divorced. He then married Joyce Jordan and she survives. Michael attended Lafayette Schools. He was in the United States Army where he served in Germany. He was disabled while working for L&N Railroad. He later worked as a cab driver and in the Indiana Veteran’s Home. He moved to Colfax in 1984 from Lafayette.

Visitation and Services

In honor of Michael's wishes, no services are planned. Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center is honored to assist the Loy family.

Survived by:

Survivors include his Wife: Joyce Loy of Colfax; Daughter: Jennifer (JP) Thorpe of Lafayette; Sisters: Linda (Robert) Johnson and Penny Loy both of Lafayette; Brother: Steve Loy of Lafayette; and 7 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
