Phillip Robison

Phillip Leon Robison, 69, passed away at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at his home. He was born on April 4, 1943 in Michigantown, IN to Claude L. & Geneva P. (Osborne) Robison. He married Judy Patton on October 17, 1964 and she survives. Mr. Robison retired from Eli Lilly where he worked as a cook for over 26 years. He attended Frankfort High School before serving in the United States Navy. An avid St. Louis Cardinal and Green Bay Packers fan, memberships included the Lebanon Pool League, Eli Lilly Retirees and the American Legion Post 12. Surviving along with his wife Judy Robison of Frankfort are Son: Matthew Robison of Oxnard, CA; Daughter: Andrea Robison of Frankfort; Grandchildren: August Caldwell, November McClure, Bailee & Chloee Robison, Samuel Peterson, Jamie Peterson, Raleigh & Mattyson Robison, Kadin Bledsoe and David “Cruzer” Cruz and 3 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Dorvan, Sons Troy and Tim and a daughter Brenda. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Archer Weston Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 3rd at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Vale Cemetery-Lafayette, IN. Memorials may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society or St. Elizabeth Hospice with envelopes available at the funeral home.

    My condolences to Phil’s family. I don’t know you, but I knew Phil as a customer and friend from Johnny’s bar in Lebanon where I wortked and where Phil and the pool league played some of their games. I always enjoyed chatting with Phil about the old days etc. He always had some great story to share and good advise to go along with it. He will surely be missed. John Sokolowski
