Richard “Dick” Ottinger, 90, of Frankfort, died at 3:43 p.m. May 27, 2021 at Wesley Manor. He was born July 3, 1930 in Frankfort to Charles & Goldie (Warren) Ottinger. He married Carol J. West on September 15, 1961 in Frankfort and she preceded him in death on November 8, 2013.
Dick was a graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Frankfort resident. He had worked at Peter Paul and the Clinton House. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Dick attended the First Christian Church and a past member of the local union with Peter Paul. He was a candy maker, sweet roll baker, rib barbecue and sweet eater of any kind. He loved to laugh and enjoyed his grandchildren immensely. His children and grandchildren loved him as much as he loved them.

2 Sons: Darrin (Corinna) Ottinger of Carmel and David Ottinger of Indianapolis, Daughter: Dianne (Ron) Gant of Frankfort, 9 Grandchildren, Emily (John) Warren, Paige Gant, Elizabeth Gant, Tanner Ottinger, Wyndham Gant, Sarah Ottinger, Sydney Ottinger, Sam Ottinger and Bailey Ottinger and 1 Great Grandchild, Guy Warren.

In addition to his parents and spouse, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Ottinger.
