Robert J. “Red” Kyle, 82, of Frankfort, Indiana passed away April 13, 2011 at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Born on December 11, 1928 in Frankfort to Ernest A. and Minnie May (Huffer) Kyle. He married Leona (Cosby) Arion on October 27, 1956 and she preceded him in death in 2003. He then married Janet Sue (Robbins) Hill on February 14, 2004 and she survives.;Mr. Kyle attended Frankfort Senior High School and was a seaman first class in the US Navy from 1946 to 1949. He retired from Hinshaw Roofing in 1994 where he had worked for nearly 50 years. Red enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Cool Lake Golf Course, and the Moose and Eagles Lodges.;Surviving along with his wife are 3 Sons: Ronald (Jean) Kyle of Crawfordsville, IN, Rodney (Jan) Kyle of Kirklin, IN, Roger (Patricia) Kyle of Carmel, 1 Daughter: Rhonda Jan Kyle of Kirklin, Step-Daughter: Dawn (Philip) Cormany of Frankfort, 1 Brother: Ernest Doyle Kyle of Texas, 1 Sister: Patsy Henderson of Frankfort, 9 Grandchildren, 2 Step-grandchildren and 4 nieces and nephews.;He was preceded in death by and infant child and 1 sister: Joan Watkins.;Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Green Lawn Memorial Park Chapel. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service at the chapel. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cool Lake Golf Course.
