Roy C. Taylor, 71, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Clinton House Health & Rehab Center. He was born on June 22, 1944 in Virginia to Henry C. and Callie M. (Dean) Taylor. He married Gladys M. Bales on August 30, 1963 in Frankfort and she survives. Roy attended school in Rose Hill, VA. He was Owner/Operator of Taylor Drywall in Frankfort. He was a member of Souls Harbor Baptist Church and enjoyed his work, fishing, traveling, and time with his family.
Memorials may be made in Roy’s honor to the Alzheimer Association.
Visitation and Services
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 6 p.m. at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center in Frankfort. Friends may visit 3 – 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park.

Surviving along with his wife Gladys are his Daughter: Teresa M. Taylor; Son: Rod C. (Mandy) Taylor both of Frankfort; Brother: OJ (Nell) Taylor of Auburn, IN; Sisters: Lou Vincil, Linda (Kenny) Jones, Ruby Taylor all three of Rose Hill, VA, and Wilma Jean Sanderfur of Jonesville, VA; 4 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; and several Nieces and Nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Morrison Dean, Marge Decker, Lloyd, Willard, James, and Bill Taylor.
We know he is at peace now, heaven has gained an angel our prayers are with the Taylor family
