Sue I. Davis, 68, of Frankfort, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at her home. She was born Feb. 25, 1943 in Linton County, to the late Lawrence and Catherine (Goad) Moore. She married Charles B. Davis on July 9, 1970 in Mississippi and he preceded her in death on January 1, 1997. Mrs. Davis attended Frankfort Schools and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. She worked at the cigar factory for 30 years. She attended Victory Chapel. Mrs. Davis loved to fish and spend time with her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter: Katherine Dodd; a son: Dean Davis; two brothers: Bob (Pat) Moore and Larry Moore; three sisters: Margaret Roe, Ruth Smart and Della Spears; two granddaughters: Bridget Cunningham and Chasity Spencer; and six great-grandchildren: Austin James Harness (Austin’s father, David Gibbons), Tristan J. Herrera, Quentin T. Cunningham, Danelle P. Hall, Jazmine M. Cunningham and Jeremy J. Spencer. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Guardian Angel Hospice.
