Tamara L. Parke 48 Colfax, IN Died at 7:54 p.m. June 11, 2015 at I.U. Health Arnett, Hospital, Lafayette, IN.  Born August 27, 1966 in Frankfort to Max & Karen (Swafford) Parke.  Tamara was a 1984 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School and a lifelong Clinton County resident. She had a fondness for education. Tamara received her associate’s degree in business administration from Ivy Tech, Bachelor degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan and her MBA from the University of Phoenix, all after becoming ill. She was an instructor at Ivy Tech, Lafayette Campus, for over 5 years. She was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church. Tamara was an avid music lover and enjoyed attending live concerts.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 until time of service at 11 a.m. at Archer Weston Funeral and Cremation Center. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery.

Survived by:

Father: Max Parke of Colfax, Son: Shey Parke of Colfax, 2 Daughters: Brooke Taylor of Colfax, Hailey Taylor of Colfax, Brother: Jeff (Jennifer) Parke of Lebanon and Nephew: Liam Parke of Lebanon.

Preceded by:

her mother, Karen Parke and a brother, James Parke.

    Tamara was a great person and a great friend! I will always remember her and I ‘s time together as teenagers, oh what fun we had! I’ll miss you friend, love you more!

    Your family has our deepest sympathy. I’m sorry that we could not make the service but you know our situation with Bob. Our hearts go out especially to the girls. I pray that you will find comfort in your family, friends and great memories.
