Violet Pauline (Timmons) Reed Altic age 94 of Frankfort passed away June 24, 2008 in Wesley Manor Healthcare Center. Born October 16, 1913 in Clinton County, Indiana to Ora E. & Retta E. (Leighty) Timmons.? She attended Frankfort High School.? She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Eastern Star.? She married Roy A. Reed in 1932 and he preceded her in death in 1940, she married Leon Altic on July 9, 1942 in Anderson and he preceded her in death December 10, 1987.? Surviving are 2 sons: Jim (Darla) Reed of Frankfort, Bill (Edie) Reed of Avon Park, FL and a daughter-in-law: Shelly Reed of Minneapolis, MN.? 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren, and 2 sisters: Garnett Pritchard and Mary Cook both of Frankfort.? She was preceded in death by a son, 2 brothers and 7 sisters.? Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday June 28, 2008 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home, a private burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery.? Friends may call 6-8 PM Friday at Archer-Weston Funeral Home.? Memorials appreciated to the American Diabetes Association.?
