William “Billy” Joseph Hemmerling

William “Billy” Joseph Hemmerling, 42, of Brownsburg and formerly of Thorntown, passed away April 7, 2020.  He was born on July 3, 1977 in Frankfort to Fred and Cynthia Diane Hemmerling.  He married Amanda Jones on July 29, 2000 in Ladoga, Ind. And she survives.

Billy grew up in Thorntown and was a 1995 graduate of Western Boone High School.  He obtained his plumbing license and worked as a licensed plumber for Mission Mechanical in Indianapolis for five years.  He enjoyed working out in Brownsburg, loved his daughter and giving pep talks.

 

Visitation and Services

Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center and Clinton County Crematory, 501 E. Clinton Street, Frankfort, are honored to assist the Hemmerling family.  There will be no services held at this time. 

Survived by:

Surviving along with his wife: Amanda are his Daughter: Patia Hemmerling of Speedway; Father: Fred (Jackie) Hemmerling of Frankfort; Mother: Cindy Hemmerling of Lebanon; Brother: Fred (Cindee) Hemmerling, Jr. of Cliffton, AZ; Step-Brothers: Shawn (Rhonda) Johnston of Burlington and Robert (Brandi) Short of Salt Lake City, UT; and Significant Other: Jamie Huffman.

    My sincere condolences to the family. May the memories in your heart give you comfort through this difficult time. As former neighbors I remember Billy and Freddy ringing our doorbell to see if Jennifer could come out and play and Billie always had his shoes on the wrong feet, bless his heart. Oh the memories! Gone way too soon.

    My Sincere condolences. Bill will be missed many of us at Ferguson Enterprises. He was always smiling and lifting up folks. Great to talk workouts and sports with. He was class act and always willing to help anybody. He was a customer of ours for many years and was always a pleasure to deal with. My prayers go out to the family.

    Patia and Amanda John and myself are thinking of you. Patia, the loss of your Dad will be difficult but you are so strong and have a great family to help you with your grief. I’m heartbroken over the loss, but I’m already looking forward to seeing you on the “other side”….until that day comes, RIP my brother 🙏🏼😓

    I first met Bill when he was working at McCurdy Mechanical in Fishers. I work at Plumbers Supply Co. in Fishers. Bill and I got to know each other when he was picking up his supplies. He was fun to work with, and just a Great and nice guy. He always came in with a “Big”smile on that matched his “Big” personality.
    Just an all around pleasure to deal with. My heart goes out to all of the family, and you will all be in my prayers. Bill will be missed. I am sorry for your lost. God bless Barb Hibbard

    To Bill’s family,

    So sorry for your loss. Bill was a great guy and had taught me many things like standing up for myself. He had contacted me not to long ago to catch up on life and it was great hearing from him. Prayers to you all during this hard time. Such a good soul gone to soon.

    Billy was the best friend I ever had…. We grew up like brothers . As we have gotten older with our own families and lives, we lost touch. About 3 months ago he hit me up on fb after not seeing or hearing from him in a very long time. Wish we cld make up for that lost time. Prayers for your family. Love you brotha R.I.P
