Wynema Turner, 86, of Kirklin passed away February 13, 2013 at her home. She was born January 9, 1927 in Jeffery, Kentucky to Ernest and Mae (Lawson) Wisdom. She married Carlie Turner and he preceded her in death in 1995. Wynema was a seamstress. She was a Kirklin resident for 32 years then moved to South Carolina where she lived for 21 years. She had recently moved back to Kirklin. She was a member of the Bethleham Baptist Church in Kentucky. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Debbie (Bob) Henderson of Kirklin and Gayle (Phil) Myers of South Carolina; 6 Grandchildren; and 11 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband. A Celebration of Life service has been planned for 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Kirklin Community Center. Archer-Weston Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association with envelopes available at the funeral home.
